Who we are
This website belongs to Hannah, trading as Darling Dogs by Hannah, a one-to-one dog grooming business in Cordangan, Co. Tipperary, E34 W281. Hannah is the data controller for your details when you get in touch. You can reach her on 085 174 7239 (call or WhatsApp).
What we collect, and why
This website has no forms and doesn’t collect your details itself. When you WhatsApp or call Hannah, she’ll have your number and whatever you tell her: usually your name, your dog’s details and the appointment you’re after. She uses these details to reply to you, give you a price and arrange your dog’s appointment. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before providing a service (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- WhatsApp: the WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp with a message ready to send. Nothing reaches Hannah until you press send. WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd (part of Meta), and its own privacy policy applies to the chat.
- Phone: if you call, Hannah will see your number like any other call.
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to look after you and your dog, and delete enquiries that don’t lead to a booking within 12 months. We never sell your details or share them for anyone else’s marketing, and we won’t send you marketing messages.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no tracking cookies on its own. Fonts and images are served from our own website.
- Meta Pixel (only with your permission): if we run Facebook or Instagram ads, we may ask whether we can use Meta’s pixel and cookies to measure them, including taps on the WhatsApp and call buttons. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd is joint controller for that data and also uses it for its own advertising, which can involve transfers outside the EEA under Meta’s safeguards. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). It only loads if you choose “That’s fine”, and you can withdraw at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page, which also removes Meta’s cookies from this site.
- Google Maps (only when you ask): the map on our home page only loads, and Google only receives your connection details, after you tap “Show map”.
- Remembering your choice: we store your cookie choice on your device so we don’t ask again. We ask again after six months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by contacting Hannah on the number above. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
