Hello, I’m Hannah
Every dog gets my full attention
Darling Dogs is my one-to-one grooming business, just outside Tipperary town. I only groom one dog at a time, so there’s no busy salon and no waiting around. It’s calm, patient care and a groom that suits your dog.
From a puppy’s very first bath to a full groom for a fluffy golden oldie, I take things at your dog’s pace and send them home looking (and feeling) their best.
- One-to-one, always. Your dog is my only focus while they’re with me.
- Calm and unhurried. Gentle handling, with breaks whenever they need them.
- A happy place. Plenty of praise and fuss throughout.

Questions, answered
How do I book an appointment?
The quickest way is WhatsApp: tap any WhatsApp button on this page and your message is ready to go. Tell Hannah your dog’s name and breed, and a photo helps. You can also call Hannah on 085 174 7239.
How much does a groom cost?
Every dog is different, so prices depend on breed, size, coat type and condition. Send Hannah a message with a few details (a photo of your dog helps!) and she’ll give you a price.
How long does a groom take?
It depends on the service and your dog’s coat. Hannah will let you know roughly how long to allow, and when to collect, when you book.
How often should my dog be groomed?
As a rule of thumb, dogs with longer, curly or fast-growing coats do best with a full groom every 4 to 8 weeks, with baths, de-shedding or nail trims in between. Hannah can suggest a routine that suits your dog’s coat and lifestyle.
What is a Puppy Introduction?
A gentle first taste of grooming. Your puppy gets used to being handled and to the sights and sounds of grooming, so future grooms feel calm and familiar.
My dog is nervous or older. Can you help?
One-to-one grooming suits nervous and older dogs well: Hannah grooms one dog at a time, so it’s calmer and there’s no rush. Tell her about any worries, triggers, health conditions or sore spots when you book, and she’ll take things at your dog’s pace.
Can I book just a nail trim?
Yes. Nail trimming is one of Hannah’s services in its own right. Send a message and she’ll find you a time.
Should my double-coated dog be shaved?
Usually not. A double coat, like a golden retriever’s, helps keep your dog comfortable in both warm and cold weather. A de-shedding treatment is normally the kinder way to tackle the fluff. Hannah will advise what’s best for your dog.
What if my dog’s coat is matted?
Please mention it when you book. Your dog’s comfort always comes first, so a heavily matted coat may need to be clipped shorter and allowed to grow back healthy rather than brushed out.
